A good friend came to visit this weekend and we headed out for a walk up Crinkle Crags and Bowfell from Great Langdale. Excellent walk on a day when the weather threw all the seasons at us several times. We ended up walking just a little under 13 miles, the highest point we reached was at 2,923 feet (sorry no metres for me) and the total amount of climbing we managed was 4,072 feet. I didn't have a problem sleeping afterwards. Got some good photos and picked up a booking for a wedding in Poland next year.
